7.5 Right of withdrawal
Should the delivery of the goods fail, through your fault, we can withdraw from the contract. If necessary, Payments will be refunded immediately.
7.6 Shipments to countries outside European Union EU
Check carefully if there are import conditions to your country for the goods you ordered and inform us exactly. Shipments that are destroyed or returned by customs due to their missing information or documents cannot be refunded. Some countries (Canada, South Africa, Namibia, New Caledonia etc.) require an import permit, which you must apply for. Please inform us about it immediately and send it to us by email.
Plants shipment require a phytosanitary certificate. The German phytosanitary certificate is certified with the corresponding addition as a CITES document for artificially propagated species of Appendix II of the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, i.e. all cacti and most other succulents.
The international shipping conditions also require us to ship the plants bare rooted with the roots completely removed from the soil. Please ask your authorities if there are any additional import regulations for your country and let us know.
Plants with the addition CITES not outside EU will only be shipped outside the EU in exceptional cases. These species require a special CITES document (€ 95.00) and some countries also require an import permit, which you must apply for with a copy of our export permit. Please ask your authorities if you need a CITES import document and let us know immediately.
7.7 Shipments to USA
Up to 7 plants can be sent directly to you as a de minimis case if no CITES marked plants are included.
For shipments with more than 7 plants we need your import permit.
The import permit requires delivery to the Plant Inspection Service USDA APHIS.
The place of fulfilment for shipments to USA with import permit is exclusively your Plant Inspection Station. If you do not pick up your goods at the Plant Inspection Station you send us the fully paid and correctly completed label to destination of a carrier of your choice, which we will gladly put in the box for you. The label is used for shipping from the Plant Inspection Station to your delivery address.
7.8 Shipments to the Canary Islands, French Overseas Departments, etc.
Belonging to Europe, plant deliveries to some areas require different documents, usually at least one phytosanitary certificate.
The plants usually have to be shipped bare-rooted with their roots completely cleared of soil. Please ask your authorities if there are any additional import regulations such as import permits for your country and let us know.
7.9. shipments to Switzerland
If export documents are required, these are checked by the Swiss authorities. You as the recipient will be charged the fees (currently SFR 30,-) for this check.
7.10. Shipments to Australia
Please pay special attention to 7.6. Please note the "Australian Biosecurity Import Conditions" and ask your responsible authorities if necessary. Please tell us exactly how the goods you are ordering must be declared and send us your Import Permit.
